Current REACH regulation for EU. Microplastics and other latest changes. Future trends and amendments to come.
A packaging material which is not compliant to Regulation EC 1907/2006 (so-called REACH) cannot be produced or imported to the European Union. In this workshop we study the most important points of the Regulation, such as substances of very high concern (SVHC) and material safety data sheet documentation (SDS). We will also discuss the recent changes regarding microplastics and how these changes affect the market. Upcoming amendments of the legislation will also be mentioned throughout this workshop.
Questions to be answered:
- How can my packaging material respect REACH regulation
- What should I check every time I receive a REACH compliance document from my suppliers?
- What should I include in my SDS, in order to comply with the regulation?
- Is the latest amendment regrading microplastics concerning my packaging materials?
