Established in accordance with Article 24 of Regulation (EU) 2022\/1616, this document serves as the official record for validated &#8220;Novel Technologies&#8221; intended to produce recycled plastic materials for food contact. Developers must submit comprehensive dossiers to be included in the public lists, which are drawn up based on registration data received since October 2022. In Belgium, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.petcore-europe.org\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">PETCORE<\/a> Europe validated technologies focusing on <strong>functional barriers<\/strong> and <strong>PET depolymerization<\/strong> to BHET.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>International Technologies (List 5b):<\/strong> Outside the European Union, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meltemkimya.com.tr\/en\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Meltem Kimya<\/a> in Turkey validated <strong>rPET <\/strong>production via<strong> chemical de-polymerization<\/strong>. In the United Kingdom, several projects achieved validation, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nextloopp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">NEXTLOOPP LTD<\/a> for the NEXTLOOPP technology and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nextek.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">NEXTEK LTD<\/a> for the COtooCLEAN process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These developers represent only a fraction of the broader Register.
