European commision recently published a warning note to Member States, informing which of them is\u00a0expected to comply with targets set by\u00a0European Green Deal<\/a><\/span>\u00a0until 2025, regarding\u00a0recyclability of municipal and\u00a0packaging waste.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Green Deal and legislations\u00a02008\/98\/EC and\u00a094\/62\/EC\u00a0, two targets are required to be met until 2025.<\/p>\n

1) minimum 55 % for\u00a0re-use and recycling of municipal waste<\/p>\n

2) minimum 65 %\u00a0for\u00a0recycling of all packaging waste<\/p>\n

Nine (9)\u00a0Member States\u00a0(Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Slovenia) are likely to meet the targets on time.<\/p>\n

The rest nineteen (19)\u00a0Member States including Greece, France, Ireland, Finland and Croatia\u00a0will, most probably,\u00a0lose the target of at least one of the above categories.<\/p>\n
