Now, <strong>all Recycle Checks are available within the same online environment <\/strong>as the plastic packaging checks. For plastic packaging, the scores obtained also influence Verpact&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.verpact.nl\/en\/fee-modulation-plastic-20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Fee Modulation,<\/a> linking better design choices directly to financial incentives. Companies can request access to the online platform to start assessing their packaging.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_the_Recycle_Checks_Work\"><\/span><strong>How the Recycle Checks Work<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Each Recycle Check includes an <strong>online questionnaire<\/strong> tailored to a specific material and a document providing background information. By answering a series of questions, companies receive a <strong>recyclability score: optimal, reasonable, limited, or non-recyclable<\/strong>. instead of &#8220;limited recyclable.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>An additional recommendation discourages the use of<strong> nitrocellulose-based inks<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Glass_Packaging\"><\/span><strong>Glass Packaging<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Packaging that includes a <strong>non-magnetic metal bracket<\/strong> will now score &#8220;limited recyclable&#8221; instead of &#8220;non-recyclable,&#8221; reflecting advances in sorting technology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Metal_Packaging\"><\/span><strong>Metal Packaging<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The new checklist explicitly asks about the presence of <strong>PVC<\/strong>, which, if found, results in a &#8220;limited recyclable&#8221;
