We are excited to announce the acquisition of a new Oxygen Transmission Rate (O.T.R.) Analyzer, which will further enhance our laboratory’s capabilities and support our commitment to providing precise and reliable testing services to our customers.

The O.T.R. Analyzer allows for accurate measurement of oxygen permeability in packaging materials, helping our clients ensure product shelf-life, quality, and regulatory compliance. This instrument employs a coulometric sensor which delivers highly sensitive and reproducible results for a wide range of materials, including paper, plastic films, and laminates.
The test range of the instrument starts from 0.01 cm3 / m2 / 24 h, for high barrier materials for the food industry such as aluminum foil, metalized PET and EVOH films, and can reach up to 10,000 cm3 / m2 / 24 h for breathable films for specific applications (e.g. fresh produce)
There is a variety of measuring conditions available, depending on the requirements of the final application such as 23 °C, 0 % relative humidity, 23 °C, 50 % r.h. and even a variety of temperatures.
With the new addition of this instrument into our lab workflow, we can offer faster testing with precise control over every step of the analysis process.


By investing in this advanced technology, we are expanding our in-house testing capabilities to include Oxygen Transmission Rate (O.T.R.) testing, according to internationally recognized standards ASTM D3985, ASTM F1927 and ISO 15105-2.
