We are excited to announce the deployment of a new Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES) instrument from Agilent Technologies, which will actively contribute our team’s endeavor to offer high-quality analysis services to all our customers.
ICP instruments allow the reliable and accurate measurement of metals in liquid or solid products (such as plastic or paper packaging), providing very low detection limits and fast analysis. Various metals need to be analyzed, in order to provide compliance for food contact material or packaging waste.
With this new equipment, our team will be able to have full control of the analysis process, minimize turn-around-time for results and, at the same time, maintain the reliability and high-quality of the laboratory services offered.
By performing this investment, we are able to expand our testing capabilities and add the following types of testing into our in-house analysis services portfolio:
- Specific Migration Testing of Metals, according to EC 10/2011 regarding plastics material in contact with food
- Heavy Metals Content according to EC 94/62 and the upcoming PPWR regulation
- Metals content in Paper Materials, according to various national legislation (German BfR, Italian Ministerial Decree 21.03.1973, Article 24 of Greek legislation)
