Learn the basics on EU food contact legislation and good manufacturing practice.
In this workshop, we will cover the basics for food contact materials (FCM) legislation in European Union. Good manufacturing practices (GMP) in packaging converting companies will also be discussed.
Legislation questions to be answered:
- How can a packaging producer provide compliance for their material?
- What is the legislation that needs to be respected in the European Union for packaging producers?
- How often should I analyze the materials produced throughout the year?
GMP questions to be answered:
- What is good manufacturing practice in a packaging production site?
- How can GMP be implemented for food contact materials?
- Is GMP a prerequisite for compliance?
